I've lost about 17 pounds.
I'm pretty proud of myself.

Still got 26 pounds to my goal.

Pet Peeve of the day

Skinny people complaining about being fat.
But it mainly bothers me when they do that when they are with or talking to a bigger person.

I have a beautiful friend (she is 5'7" and probably 130 pounds), with a figure I would kill for. The day we went shopping an she was telling me how fat she is and needs to go on a diet. That pretty much ruined my day. Because if she is "sooo fat" ( a direct quote) what does that make me? I must be a whale. Don't they think about these things?

Just don't complain to me.

Weight Loss

Hey!
So if you read the post directly below this post you will see my new year’s resolution for 2010. (That truly proves how often I update this blog  lol) Just like years prior, I didn’t stick to them….

Every year I think that this is the year I’ll get my butt in gear and lose the extra weight. The year starts out so well and then week by week I slip up until I’m back to my old routine.

It wasn’t until a little more than a month ago that I decided that I have to do this, I want to do this, and I will do this.

This winter was especially bad for my state. We have never seen this much snow. I was out of school for a whole week (my university has never had to close for a week before). I ate a lot, mainly because I was bored and I couldn’t get out and do any sort of physical activity. I was at my highest weight, and then I gained about 3 to 4 more pounds due to the extreme winter. I started to notice weight gain in my stomach and some of my pants becoming a little tight. I generally avoid the scale, but I knew I had gained more weight, and I had to know just how much…

213 pounds. I was devastated by this number. I was never happy with my weight, but I tended to ignore it as long as the number didn’t go up or I didn’t notice any weight gain. Seeing that number was the motivation I needed lose weight.

For the last month and a couple weeks I have been writing down everything I eat. (I use a website to do this – caloriecount.com) I bought a food scale and have been measuring my portions. I have also been exercising as often as I can, and just being all around more active.

As of 4/19/10 I weigh 202 pounds. I am so proud of myself.

Happy New Year everyone!!

I bet most bloggers are taking this day to post their new years resolutions, and this post will be no different :)

I have one resolution this year, and that is to take better care of my self. Basically I want to: eat better, exercise more, find a good skin care routine, etc... I think you get the picture.

I also plan on trying to follow this book, This Book Will Change Your Life, which is 365 daily instructions for hysterical living. I'll definitely be updating every day about that on my blog. You guys can follow them too if you want :) (I'm not sure if I'll be able to post daily or just have a weekly round-up)

Day 1 - Warm up by choosing to do one of the activities listed on the page. I won't list them all out, but here is what I chose... Decide which one of your toes is the prettiest. I chose my right big toe :) (See isn't that hysterical)

2010 is going to be a great year!!!

Roommates Suck

My roommates drive me insane.

I knew right from when I moved in that this wasn't going to work. Our kitchen was stocked with all the other girls stuff. Basically, I was going to have no room when I went grocery shopping. Luckily my parents were kind enough to buy me a little refrigerator... I used to keep my cups and stuff in kitchen, but the girls would use them and not wash them after. I have to keep everything in my room now.

Another thing... Is it too much to ask that when you come home at 2:30 in the morning, you shut the fuck up? One night they came home and did laundry. The laundry room is right outside my room, and it makes a lot of noise. This wasn't a thursday night either (I wouldn't have minded as much because I have no classes the next day), but this was a wednesday and I had a test in my 9:30am class the next day.

These bitches don't sleep-in either. They always wake up at like 10:30 and are loud as shit. Just this Friday, they came back and didn't go to sleep until 3, but one of the girls woke up at 9:30 and took a shower (again its pretty close to my bedroom) and then around 10 she was in the kitchen putting away dishes making all kinds of noise.

Don't even get me started on when I try to take a nap... I guess I can't get mad about that because it is daytime. I love my naps though :(

But do you want to know what really pisses me off about them? They're so messy! And they have enough nerve to put this note on the refrig... (sorry its sideways)

And this note came after I cleaned the grossest microwave I have ever seen. I was going to leave a note like this, but I didn't want to be a bitch. I just hoped they would try and keep things clean after. The kitchen is always gross (I rarely use the kitchen unless its to microwave some food)... All I have to say is that I hope this note wasn't for me!
